Yesterday was amazing. I had a good workout, did office and phone catch up in the morning, and then I got after it. I tore out the heater and got the place cleaned and prepped for building the real stove. As evening came my neighbor came over to pick up some logs for the mill, and we spent the evening loading and limbing. Send a load to the mill and went to bed with the sound of new boards being milled from my trees coming to me through the forest from my neighbor’s mill a short ways away. Awesome.
Today is off to such a great start. It’s Independence Day, the sunrise fireworks were amazing, I’m up and my workout is hard, and I’m so thankful. I hope to get started on the new stove build today, and maybe put the excavator back together after peeling a track off yesterday loading logs. We’ll see, I just know I’m so thankful for this day and this freedom and this life. Thanks given, always. So rad, what a day. Let’s get it!
