Yesterday I intended to take it easy, and wound up getting a lot done despite trying to rest from my big Wednesday.  I started on the excavator and did some final finish on the highest point, detailed the wood shed splitting area and got the splitter set up, and moved a lot of logs to the work area to buck and split.  I’m set for a big wood push in the coming weeks now, and I also set up some help for early next week to finally deal with these giant windows.  Stoked.  I had a lovely day.

Today is off to a good early start.  It’s dark and I’m in the fog here this morning as the drizzle continues and the clouds envelop the shack.  I’m tempted to get on my bike, but I’m trying to save my energy for a big push on the last decking framing job to finish out the shack surround.  It’s been a long time coming, and it’s a rest week job since I’ve had a hard time mustering the energy for this one after workouts.  So, it’s on deck, and I’m ready to kill it and check it off the list.  Can’t wait, that will set me up for creative summer railing building sessions, and support work, and all the details that I am excited to slow down and give some attention to.  It’s gonna be a great day, hopefully I can sit still here long enough to attack the big project with my full force in a few hours here.  I’m just rarin’ to go!  I got this.
