Yesterday was a good day. I got up and got going and got myself into town for errands. That took way too long, but I got it all done, then came home for some fencing and cow herding. The bull is jumping every fence no problem, so I gave up on keeping him in and got a ways on fencing the new pasture despite the snow and froze and bastard bull. I got a long ways, and ended the day frustrated with the bull but happy with my effort and progress. It was a good day.
Today is going to be great. I’m exhausted from chasing the animals through the crusty snow for the last couple days, and the fencing and hauling things around in the snow, but I’m going to get after it again today. I’m dong handstands, my fire is ripping, it’s 25 out there and frozen solid, and I’m stoked on the day. Hoping to get the new fence buttoned up and the bull trapped, and maybe some more fencing in the orchard. We will see, but whatever happens, it’s my day. Can’t wait to see it develop.
