Yesterday took things so much farther, I could not be more satisfied with a day. I am also SO tired! I started on the ladder, and stayed there until noon. I finished insulating and sheeting the last section of wall in the shack, which is a huge milestone. That freed up clear sheeting to roof the rest of the woodshed, which I did. Then I finally got the fuel drum emptied and ready to dispose of and in the process set myself up for a few more days of running the machine. So stoked, that was two jobs I’d been dreading for months, done! What a day, I ended so wiped out I ate 3 lbs of beef and crashed so hard.
Today is going to be amazing. I’m well rested, sore from yesterday, and ready for a productive day where I try to stay off the ladders and minimize the lifting. I’m going to attempt to rest a bit, while pushing forward with some dirt work while it drizzles away here, since the dust will be minimized. Hopefully I’ll end the day with a big pile of future firewood on deck to split and stack, and maybe some new finished paddocks to seed and prep in this moist period. Whatever happens, I can’t wait to see what becomes of the day. Gonna be so rad. I got this!
